The USGA Green Section is broken down into eight regions. Each of these regions is staffed by a USGA representative who acts as the liaison between the golf course superintendent and the USGA. The regional USGA Green Section staffer provides periodic reports from his area, updating such things as drought conditions and new turf grasses that are being utilized.
