For The Good Of The Game Grants

Through this initiative, the USGA is committed to providing opportunities for personal development through golf and its values. USGA grants empower organizations that introduce the game to people who would otherwise not have the opportunity, specifically kids from economically disadvantaged backgrounds and individuals with disabilities. Grant awards are directed to instructional programs, caddie or other work-based curriculums, and the construction of facilities that make the game both more affordable and accessible as well as teach individuals the life values inherent in the game.

Notice: Please be aware that the USGA has altered its traditional grant review period as described in the Application Deadlines and Process section. In 2009, rather than reviewing grant applications in January and May, applications will be reviewed in April. Our intention is to continue to hold a fall review meeting
