Through its Grants Initiative, the USGA
empowers organizations that introduce the game to people who
would otherwise not have the opportunity, specifically economically
disadvantaged youth and individuals with disabilities. Grant
awards are directed to instructional programs, caddie or other
work-based curriculums, and the construction of facilities that
make the game more affordable and accessible.

Deadlines and Process section. In 2009, rather than reviewing
grant applications in January and May, applications will be
reviewed in April. Our intention is to continue to hold a fall
review meeting |
